Paula
Clinic Manager
I’ve been passionate about working with animals for nearly two decades, starting in 2006. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to take on a variety of roles, including animal control officer, pet store manager, animal welfare attendant, and veterinary receptionist. Each position has deepened my love for animals and strengthened my commitment to their care and well-being. In 2022, my husband and I relocated to beautiful Nanaimo, where I began working at Coastal City Animal Hospital. I started as a receptionist and have since taken on the role of clinic manager, a position I’m proud to hold as I continue supporting both our team and the pets we care for. At home, life is happily busy with our three cats—Ducky, Opi, and Max—and our two small dogs, Bandit and Sully. When I’m not at the clinic, I love spending time on creative pursuits like graphic design, crafting, and baking.

She also enjoys cycling, exploring new recipes, cooking for family and friends, and unwinding with movies and television. These interests help her maintain a creative, active, and balanced lifestyle.
Her love for animals has always been an important part of her life. She shares a special bond with her five-year-old Rottweiler, Lyza, who lives in India and continues to inspire her passion for veterinary medicine and animal welfare.
